Adult Evening Classes
These weekly classes are a space to step into the work consistently, to build skill, confidence, and presence over time.
Whether you’re new to acting, returning to it or simply wanting to reconnect and build on confidence, the focus is the same: working truthfully, staying connected, and developing your own way into the craft.

INTRODUCTORY LEVEL
Tuesdays, 5.30 pm - 7.00 pm
INTERMEDIATE AND ADVANCED
Wednesdays, 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm

Classes cover a range of screen acting techniques and approaches, including:
Text analysis and understanding behaviour
Character development grounded in truth
Improvisation and responsive work
Screen technique and subtlety
Commercial and contemporary drama
Working across genre and tone
Emotional attunement and connection
Building presence and self-trust
The work is practical, focused, and responsive to the people in the room.

Drawing from other established techniques; Meisner, Laban, Chekhov, Stanislavski and Uta Hagen so that students can build a versatile toolkit.
But technique alone isn’t enough; it’s how we apply it, with self-awareness and presence, that creates depth in a performance and that’s where Sam comes in.
Sam’s goal is to help actors bring themselves fully to a role, grounded in their own choices, without needing to use substitution or trigger real-life experiences.
Sam emphasises on connection and responsiveness: investing in your scene partner, responding to what you see and hear, and building an exchange that feels alive and layered. Focusing on strengths first, guiding students to trust their instincts and explore their own emotional intelligence, rather than forcing choices that don’t come naturally.
